 TOXIC MOLD SYNDROME
Often
compared
with
sick
building
syndrome,
toxic
mold
syndrome
is
an
allergy
spread
by
mold
spores.
Mold
spores
can
cause
symptoms
such
as
watery
eyes,
nausea,
fever,
and
shortness
of
breath.
Most
often,
the
effects
of
toxic
mold
syndrome
are
harmless,
although
it
is
unsightly
and
can
produce
offensive
olfactory
odors.
Toxic mold
syndrome
can
manifest
itself
by
destroying
the
building
materials
they
live
upon.
All
types
of
condensation,
flooring,
or
water
leaks
contribute
to
toxic
mold
syndrome.
If
reason
dictates,
your

step

is
always
to
fix
the
water
leaks
and
treat
your
mold
residue
with
well-proven
abatement
practices
and
cleaners.
Extensive removal
of
gravely
affected
areas
is
most
often
your
best
option
when
the
saturation
has
deteriorated

hopeless.

might
consider
remodeling
certain
areas
after
they
have
been
opened
for
remediation.

of
